Nankang CRS v2?

Has anyone ran the Nankang CRS v2 on their Camaro's? I heard they are a bit taller than the goodyear supercar 3 tires as well. (hopefully not by much). If anyone has any pro's and con's compared to the goodyear supercar 3's, please share your insight! I would have gone to straight to the goodyear supercar 3r's, but like to drive my car on street too. I am looking for almost the same drivability i get from supercar 3's on the street!

They offer SC3R levels of grip and last longer.

That’s very high praise

In this video, Jiaaqi Sun, one of the fastest chicks I've ever met, hunts me down in her stock C7 Z06 on Nankang CRS tires with 3 full days on them. When she gets around, the tires start to go about 3/4 way through the session and her oil temps skyrocket (C7 Z06 known cooling issues). While I didn't load the full session, I clocked a 1:28 on slicks and she clocked a 1:26 on those CRS to chase me down.

I ended the day with a high 1:25 lap. Just a few tenths quicker than her on the Nankangs.

@NG329 yeah, i'm going to get a set soon, and see the advantages over the supercar 3's. Hoping to shave at least 2 seconds off my lap times with the nankang's!

I've run the CR-1, CR-S V1 and CR-S V2. But only in 305/30R19 and 315/30R18 sizes. They are a great tire that offer a lot of grip. Good street manners. Steering is a bit vague (softer sidewall) when compared to tires like the RE71RS and 660s but better than A052s. They do like a bit more temperature but can be overheated. The SC3s have better heat tolerance but less overall grip.
