Alcantara Suede Match?

Is anyone aware of a close match to the Jet Black Suede finish on the ZL1 interior? Would like to wrap a piece in a very close finish to the Alcantara suede color on the interior trim pieces.

Thanks

You might try John Caravaggio or APSIS, they make a lot of custom interior pieces for Corvettes. Not sure if either have a Camaro product line. But I suspect the Alcantara that is used in the current model Corvette is the same that is used in the Camaro.

Thanks.
I actually found some RED suede material that I think might contrast the Alcantara Gray on the steering wheel. I ordered a flat bottom plastic cover that I plan on removing the ZL1 logo, wrapping it, and then replacing the logo.

This is a great idea!!!!

Keep us posted on your results. I’d be interested to see it. Might do it to mine.

Wow !!!! That looks fantastic!!!!

I’m looking forward to seeing pictures from far away.

I have the Red shifter paddles and this piece would make a great combination with those.

You did this yourself?

The distance photos dont show up well for some reason. I think garage lighting and the HDR on the camera leave out the quality for some reason. Ill post a couple I have, but they dont do it justice.

Yes, I did this myself in about 1hr.

The album was uploaded too, so it's towards the top of this Discussions Forum

You are right !! The shots from afar don’t do it justice. Looks much better up close, which I actually think it’s a good thing.

You should think about switching the shifter paddles to red man. I can’t find any shots of mine installed and my car is covered till the spring.

Here is a link to a quick google search I did. I used the OEM corvette paddles, they bolt right up to our steering wheel.

Where did you get that red material to do that?

Those Red Paddles do look nice.

I got the material from JoAnn Fabrics here locally in Toledo, OH. It's not Alcantara, but it's a thinner material, but it lets you work with it. I received your PM, and I'll have to consider it.
