Meguiar's also enters the ceramic world and adds to the Hybrid Ceramic Wax Line

Not to be outdone, Meguiar's is issuing new products next year as well.

Starting Jan 1, they are adding 3 new products to their Hybrid Ceramic line. I guess the wax was successful enough to warrant new products, and to answer the new Turtle Wax lines. Anyway, here are the new products to be offered:

1. Hybrid Ceramic Detailer: https://www.meguiars.com/automotive/...-gloss-enhance

2. Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax:
https://www.meguiars.com/automotive/...ction-easy-use

3. Hybrid Ceramic Clay Kit:

Promo video on each:

You can online order these starting next month. Which explains why prices aren't on Amazon right now. I'm sure thought they're not going to be that much more than the Turtle Wax items.

AND I'M NOT DONE.

Also on Jan, Meguiar's entirely new professional grade products also come up for sale. This suite looks like they're going after Adam's, Chemical Guys, and other mid tier cost companies. What do you guys think? Here's the list below:

1. M122 Surface Prep (Bottle and Gallon Size):

https://www.meguiars.com/professiona...12201-1-gallon

2. M799 Pro Ceramic Bead Booster (32oz bottle or gallon):

3. M788 Deep Crystal SIO2 Ceramic Paint Coating (available to public, no certs needed. comes with gloves, surface prep spray, applicator, and 150 ml bottle)
https://www.meguiars.com/professiona...eramic-coating

4. M27 Hrbrid Ceramic Sealant (16oz squeeze bottle):
https://www.meguiars.com/professiona...nt-m2716-16-oz

5. Iron Remover-
https://www.meguiars.com/professiona...emover-without

6. Hyper Dressing for rubber and vinyl- Similar to Chemical Guys VRP
https://www.meguiars.com/professiona...-both-interior

7. Wheel and Tire Cleaner (with no acid):
https://www.meguiars.com/professiona...out-using-acid

8. Professional All Purpose Cleaner ( similar to Citrol):
https://www.meguiars.com/professiona...de-all-purpose

What do you guys think?? If can walk in to Walmart or Autozone and buy the Paint Coating or Sealant they will have a winner.

Interesting. I look forward to seeing what our forum detailing gurus think of these new products. Holy cow, there are so many options out there that it is hard to choose! Nevermind that something "new and shiny" always seems to appear before I have used up existing products.

Tell me about it. I used Meguiar's almost exclusively until I moved to a new apartment with no exterior water. Then I got into the Chemical Guys thanks to the Waterless wash. Then I bought the Seal and Shine and Ice Spray Wax. They worked so good that i about to convert over to the ICE line and now the TW ceramic line is out and Meg's is coming.

SMH

Final vid. Here's a 16 min video interview on all new products.

Did they hire CWs marketing guy? So much stuff and overlap.
When announced:
ULW lasted up to a year.
UFF lasted up to a year
HCW was most advanced to that point....might have lasted a year
M788 lasts a year, more if maintained.
M27 is their most durable sealant ever....lasts up to six months.

Huh?

Is it because M788 "pro ceramic" lasts a year, but really reads like a "ceramic lite"

I think they crapped the bed naming M799 "bead booster". Its supposed to be a better HCW, but you name it a bead booster?
First I thought that meant it was the detailer line of the ceramic detailer, it sounds like it is going after bead maker. I invite other to read the responses at the meguiars forums to the new product questions, something seems off. I might be imaging things, or just going off how open, honest, and responsive turtle wax has been over Hybrid Solutions questions. They flat out said Seal N Shine will still be the best for chemical resistance before the new line has released. Suprised me they publically stated that with a new flagship spray coming out.
