How do people instal tint on the back window?

I can hardly clean back there, let alone do a professional job applying something bubble free all the way to the bottom.

How do they do this magic?

I had a professional do mine (3 times). I drive a convertible and had the top replaced twice (known TSB).

It’s not easy so you should let a professional do it! I watched the guy that did the tint in my ZL1 and it took him about 2.5 hours to do the side windows and the rear glass.

It took my guy a while, he had to fashion tools out of things around the shop to do it and he said he's going to charge more for these cars the next time he does one. Lol

I have been wondering about this too. The previous owner put a really dark tint on the back window. Great for the South Texas Heat, but at night, the rear window is useless. I'd like to get a couple shades lighter on the back, if no other reason to see if that Explorer behind me has a tear drop light on it. lol

I was just looking at my back window last night thinking the same.
I can't even fit in the back to clean the windows...glad my wife is petite!

Oompa Loompas. Also great to test Camaro rear seats as crash-dummies.

Take the seats out - otherwise hire mofo with 9 ft arm span to reach back there.

On my 2016 Camaro SS I had my professional window tint guy do it.

For my 2019 Camaro SS I actually bought precut tint online, heat shrunk it, and installed it myself on the rear window. I did cheat and take out the rear package tray and speakers to give me more room.
It wasnt too bad, honestly tinting the entire front windsheild was harder for me to do than the rear window due to the gauge pods and the HUD display in the way.

I need to get my 19 ZLE windows tinted and my usual tint guy won't touch the back glass, he said that he would do the doors and quarter glass but not the back glass, and watching vids on YouTube I would need to either take out the back seats or cover them due to the fact that I wouldn't want to get those nice leather seats all goofed up, I did ponder the thought of taking out the back deck but wonder how hard that would be.

I removed mine. its just like everything else inside our camaros, you just have to be careful and pay attention to how things come apart so you dont break the clips or the panels themselves.
