Axleback w Largest volume difference between open/closed valve

Hey Guys,
I am about to go ahead and have headers installed but my current catback setup is going to be way too loud all the time w valves opened or closed. Is there an npp exhaust that has the greatest noise difference when the valves are closed. Is it the Borla Atak, Stype, Magnaflow, ect?
I know the Atak is louder but is it the same volume as the Stype when the valves are closed on both systems?

Edit: no longer installing headers. Still interested in everyone’s opinions.

Catted or non-catted headers? The ATAK axleback will be raspy on non-catted setups and ear-piercingly loud. I'd recommend the S Type.

Magnaflow is going to rattle your brain with the amount of drone, you'll hate it.

Non Catted headers, will even the Stype drone with non cats? Should I have a resonator installed.

I have the Atak 2nd cats removed, and it sounds great ! No drone, Barks when you fire it up, put it on stealth mode and it sounds like a stock SS !

I think you should run the S Type by itself first then you could make that call. If you're looking for something that is aggressive under wide open then I wouldn't do the resonators. If you feel it's too loud or not the right side you're looking for then I would add the resonators later. S Type WILL NOT drone, as long as you're running the NPP version.

If you went with the ATAK then I would definitely recommend resonators.

I have the Kooks headers high flow cats and the Borla Stype catback sounds great until WOT damn it is loud!! Coold Starts wow loud. I am going to add either borla resonator or some magnaflow 14419 to tone it down. Having a hard time making my mind up on which to install

I just got an ARH long system (with cats) on my ZL1 a couple days ago (along with a pulley change and tune). I kept the stock suitcase muffler. It is way loud when accelerating with the exhaust valves open and also sounds a little weird in stealth mode when accelerating aggressively. I'll be looking for a new axleback set up myself.
