Why is this $500? I get all the R&D, but really!? By the time this hits Canada, it's a $800 intake.

Anyone got a used one for sale? LOL.

Is the Rotofab worth it from a performance standpoint? I know there is more 'whine' but how does that translate to power to the wheels.....?

You might get a 20hp gain. RF or any other intake is much more effective when tuning and/or combining with other mods.

Used for sale section has a few for a good price.

I'm inclined to think little or no gain unless you tune the car.

I thought so too until I put my RF dry in about 2 weeks ago. Now my wheels spin even easier in 2nd gear. I was used to that in colder months but I live in the valley in LA and it's been warm.

No CEL codes since install so that's good, definitely sounds great with cool SC whine bouncing off tunnel walls.

I found one used in like new condition for $180 picked up so I couldn't pass it up, previous owner switched to Big Gulp.

The prospect of paying $500 and have to jump through hoops to get it in CA was a blocker. The workmanship, design and materials are truly OEM quality. Only thing I dont like is the logo, without that CA cops might think it's OEM like a GT350 CAI.

I have a Weapon X intake that was purchased for my 2017 ZL1 and installed for 1 day, then removed . I then installed the RotoFab intake.

I bought it for testing purposes. It has been sitting in a box for a year.

I would be willing to send you this for the cost of sipping to Canada. Not trying to make a profit.

I read somewhere where if it's like 4" or smaller, than you don't need to tune?
