Aim Solo 2 DL - Brake Application

For anyone that is running an Aim Solo 2 DL - is there a channel that shows % brake application similar to % throttle application? I’m using the C7 ecu mapping and the only brake application I can find looks to be an on/off not a % application. I could be wrong in how I’m looking at that channel but I’d be surprised if I’m going from 0% to 100% every time I touch the breaks

Edit: running the AIM solo 2 DL on a 2018 2SS 1LE

There is a channel for brake pedal position that can be shown in PDR/Cosworth Pi Toolbox and I know I saw someone talking about it with Aim but I can't find that now. It's definitely there though. Yeah you're not going 0%-100%, you can't even get past about 60%-70% since its pedal position and 100% would be all the way to the floor.

Good to know that the ecu does track this, it may be something that I need a custom mapping to get or is called something super abstract

Not that I am aware of. I log brake PSI.

This would be a workable alternative for me - which channel do you use for this? Or did you have to map it yourself?

It is a predefined PID on the list for C7.

I don't remember having to change anything, the brake position (or maybe it was psi) worked right out of the box. I just sold my Solo 2DL so I can't confirm you.

Thanks everyone - I’ll go in and make sure I have the right mapping selected since it isn’t showing up for me

No, I ended up not using the data as much as I thought I would. I don’t race anymore, just fun track days. Diving into data after each session, or each day took some of the fun out of it. Something I found to not really be necessary for a track day. The video overlay was cool with the Solo + Smartycam, but the quality left a lot to be desired. There wasn’t enough to justify the price tag over a regular Solo laptimer which I already had.

Sorry to hijack, but is there a AIM Solo 2 DL pre-canned PID for monitoring eLSD lockup? I'm trying to log this as part of tracking how the system responds to different wheel/tire combinations.

If it is loose it is not locking enough. If it is tight it is locking too much.
