Which BMR lockout kit are you guys using?

I see two different kits, BK 060 or BK 063? Also, did you do trailing arms at the same time? If so, adjustable or non?

063 is correct and the one I installed. Read the install directions on the BMR site and you will understand.

060 is the differential lockout which is an enhancement for the differential mounting itself. The cradle lockout 063 is for the entire cradle where it mounts to the body.

I did the 3 non-adjustable arms on each side, along with the regular lockout kit. The car handles great. I'm very happy.

I'm thinking the non-adjustable arms are a fairly simple install, true or no?

I had mine installed at a shop. Seems straight forward.

How noticeable were the BMR control arms after install?
I will be installing my BMR lockout kit this weekend!
Just wondering if the arms are worth it.

Thanks, E

Wish I could tell you. I had them installed at the same time, but if I were forced to chose just one, I would go with the lockout kit. Seems to do the most.
However, those control arms are not that expensive, and are really beefy, and you are already going in there, and you already have to get the car aligned again, so you might as well get them.

That was my question as well when I did the solid pucks from GM. I was going to do the arms at the same time time, but decided to try just the solid bushings by themselves.

For me the solid bushings fixed the issue I cared about most, which was the rear-end having some play and side to side motions during quick lane changes or transitions. So I never pushed forward with the arms.

I still might consider it at some point just to see if it adds anything. I just worry about having to do more maintenance on them, since they need to be greased and maintained to keep any noises/squeaks away. On the other hand, it will be interesting to see if I get increased wear from the stock arm bushings by going to the solid cradle bushings. So far, I have about 8K miles on them and no issues yet with the stock arms.

As noted, don't forget the new bolts... and do yourself a favor and pick up a torque angle gauge. It will make the TTY procedure much easier.

I've been using this Lilse version.... the clip is handy for keep the dial stationary.

When installing the bullets be sure to get a good amount of grease INSIDE the rubber bushing before trying to install them or you'll be beating on those things for a bit.

I didn't get enough in the hole on the first two and those two took longer to beat into place (using a piece of 2x4 and a shop hammer) than the other six combined.

Thank you for all of the advice! I did previously order the one time use bolts! I will also stick with just the lockout kit for now. I don’t mind getting back under the car if I decide to go with the arms later. These non warranty killing mods are good for me since my car is right around the build date for bad oil pumps.
