Top 5 Modifications
I recently completed my build (for now). I will always be tweaking like everyone else on the forum, but I am planning to stay with these mods for a while. Couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. No Dyno testing in the plans (don't rack/track the car) just thrilled with the results.
A big shout out to the forum here. I was able to find most of what I needed right here on the forum. Everyone was super helpful, searches produced lots of results. The information, and the experience of the group, was comprehensive and greatly appreciated!!: 1) Tony Mamo Ported Throttle Body ($375)- It is everything Tony said it would be, and more. He is underselling the improvement with his TB. It changed the driveability of the car dramatically with improved tip in and throttle response - especially with the 6 speed manual 2) Borla S-Type Cat Back Exhaust with Carbon Fiber Tips ($2,418)- Looks, sound, performance, fit, finish, weight savings all worth the price! Exactly what I was looking for. Louder, more throaty for sure. Tastefully louder, but not obnoxious. 3) Roto-Fab CAI ($595) - Forums were clear this was the best, most trusted intake option for the Gen 6 Camaro. Fit, finish, is excellent. 4) Hurst Billet Shifter ($350)- Couldn't find any info on this specifically but took a chance with the $600 labor to install the $300 part. Results are AMAZING. Exactly what I was hoping for. Cannot recommend this enough. Throws are super short, crisp (not notchy at all), and firm. Removes all the annoying looseness of the stock short shifter. Super quiet, no NVH in the cabin at all. 5) Wildhammer Motorsports Appearance Items - Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel $1,100, Carbon Fiber Shift Knob $315, GM Dark Lens Kit $750, ZL1 Addons (lift points, center caps , titanium lugs $309), IROC Motorsports Blade Spoiler $695. All look amazing on the car. Couldn't be happier with the fit, finish, quality, and appearance of all of these items. I'll keep checking the forum for recommendation and reviews on future items #6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 to do next!! Cheers!!!

I just picked up the Stype catback also but i went steel tips. Didn't think they were worth the extra coin. Do you have any pics of the carbon tips?

Hey Man, fantastic list of modifications so far. How did you get that throttle body for $375? Site says $390. Keep up the great work and looking forward to future feedback and pics.

I’ve ordered some interior pieces for mine, even though they’re “hydro dipped” they still look really good and better than the cheap stuff that’s stock.

if you are going for a nice look under hood, then get a rotofab. The performance without a tune is not worth the $.

I get that the optimal thing to do next would be to tune/calibrate the ECU, but what I don't know is who to turn to for this? This might be the most subjective modification out there, which is why I've stayed away from it for now. Who is the best, what can be trusted, and what is most reliable in the car? Can anyone shed more light on this? Bolts-ons are fairly straight forward, but engineering should be left to certified pros. I would trust Callaway because they actually engineer solutions, but they won't tune my car without a $25,000 investment and upgrade of the supercharger. Other than that, I am looking for bullet-proof recommendations. Thanks!

I've been tossing around the S Type...I know it's subjective but how much louder is the s type than stock during normal driving?

Man you had me excited about that shifter until I downloaded the instructions, you have to take apart 75% of the drivetrain!
