Memory seats & mirrors
Anyone have any problems with the memory function? I programmed it in location 1 and it worked for a short time but then quit. Thanks!

Yes. I found this out the hard way after switching the automatic seat return on in the settings menu, and grabbing the wrong key (remote) on the way to work the next morning... I thought I had pissed-off Bumble Bee for a second!

I can only get my easy exit settings to work. I have to manually hold the 1 button every time I get in the car. I've the settings with the car on both keys and no matter what I do the auto memory recall doesn't work. I even watched that C7 video of the same issue as its my understanding it is the same system. Is this feature not offered in a manual or perhaps I need a trip to the dealership? Any ideas would greatly be appreciated.

How do you activate the auto memory recall? I have the position set via the door buttons and enabled the option in the preference settings, but nothing happens when I turn the ignition on. I also have the easy exit enabled (since I'm a bigger guy it makes it a little easier to get in and out). I keep reading something about programming the remote to make the auto recall work, but how do I do that????

If equipped, the 1, 2 SET, and B (Exit) buttons on the driver door are used to manually store and recall memory settings for the driver seat and outside mirrors. Storing Memory Positions To store positions to the 1 and 2 buttons: 1. Place the ignition in ON/RUN/ START or ACC/ACCESSORY. 2. Adjust the driver seat and the outside mirrors on some vehicles to the desired driving or exit position. 3. Press and release SET. A beep will sound. 4. Immediately press and hold 1 until two beeps sound. 5. Repeat Steps 1 –4 for a second driver using 2. To store positions to theB(Exit) button and easy exit features, repeat Steps 1–4 usingBto store your position for getting out of the vehicle. Manually Recalling Memory Positions Press and hold 1, 2, or Bto manually recall the previously stored memory positions. Releasing 1, 2, orBbefore the stored positions are reached stops the recall. Automatically Recalling Memory Positions (Auto Memory Recall) If programmed on in the vehicle personalization Menu, the Auto (Automatic) Memory Recall feature automatically recalls the current driver ’s previously stored 1 or 2 position when the ignition is changed from OFF to ON/RUN/ START or ACC/ACCESSORY. See “Auto Memory Recall” under “ Comfort and Convenience” in Vehicle Personalization 0 140. To stop recall movement, press one of the memory, power mirror, or power seat controls. RKE transmitters are not labeled with a number. If your memory seat position is stored to 1 or 2, but this position is not automatically recalling, then store your positions to the other button or switch RKE transmitters with the other driver. If the vehicle’s driver has changed, in some vehicles the Driver ID may be displayed for the first few ignition cycles. Easy Exit Recall Easy exit recall automatically activates when one of the following occurs: . The vehicle is turned off and the driver door is opened within a short time. . The vehicle is turned off with the driver door open. To stop recall movement, press one of the memory, driver seat, or outside mirror controls. |

I read it, it still doesn't tell me how to get it to function. It's enabled on the menu (and there is no sub menu, so no additional options are available). How do I attach the memory setting on the door to a particular fob when I start the car?????

I've gotten so pissed off trying to get these settings to program. The latest thing I'm trying is to set them AGAIN...then use the fob I want programed and lock and unlock the car. Seams to be working so far, time will tell!

Ok, so it's set on the door. So, does that mean every time I lock and unlock the door I have to use the key fob to get the car to recognize it. No more using the button on the handle??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It should remember the settings for each of the fobs.
