New Personal Best Whipple Camaro 10.4s

Finally stopped raining and I got out to the track for the first time in 2019. New personal best 10.44.

Picked up 3/10ths from last fall.

Changes from last year, switched from 92 octane pump gas to e55 also added a Alky Meth injection kit, spray windshield wiper fuild. Still running stock front wheels and tires. Essentially running 2 pounds more boost and 2 more degrees of timing. Track conditions DA was 2,100, which is actually good from my track, bad was I was dealing with a headwind that was keep MPH down.

Skip to 4 minute mark for 1/4 mile run.

Nice work! With a Full drag pack and better DA, I think you would be right at 10.1. might even tickle the 9.9 if you can get the 60ft in 1.4 range.

Thanks Greg. I am a year behind you. Going to see how far I can take it as is. Cam and pistons will likely be next winter.

I am planning a trip to a low DA track at some point this year, probably not until fall. I am thinking skinnies on the front will help with the 60'.

9's are tough, I thought for sure I'd get there last year but the engine decided that wasn't going to happen. That last 4 tenths take all the stars to line up and that doesn't happen easily. Robs on his way but the road will be a little bumpy sometimes and I hope he makes it.
