surging issues after porting tb

Anyone else have this problem after porting tb, its doing it cruising down the road, the timing is going up and down via hptuners?

I thought i was being conservative lol did it while car was on dyno, did pick 10 rwhp, we have tried to smooth several times, It just doesn't like the port work. I ordered the lt5 yesterday

That is my understanding too, I ported my own and did not even look at the lip next to the blade.... this is best done by the pros IMO.

These are a lot more sensitive then the ls stuff then, and I didn't mess with the blade area just the lip.

If you removed any material around the area where the throttle blade rests you will have surging issues. The LT1 doesnt use a IAC valve, it uses air that bleeds past the throttle blade for idle control along with minimal throttle blade opening.

I had the same issue with a ported TB by a well known porter and it took another TB to fix the issue. Afterwards we figured out it was the throttle blade opening that was causing the issue.
