More volume from borla s type?
Just got my borla s type with npp functions and coming from a 4th gen cammed camaro with long tubes x pipe and true duals, the car is a little quiet for me.
I won’t do headers yet because I want to keep the warranty. Will deleting the secondary cats give me more volume or do I need to go to something like the discontinued borla 60606 setup? |

Secondary delete is what you’re looking for. I did 60606 and axleback first. Coming from a 5.0 with Roush axleback and x pipe I wanted more volume and deleted the secondaries....finally found the growl I was looking for. Drone is very minimal but the car really opens up as you get up in the RPMs.

I would check first, but I thought deleting anything emissions related will void your warranty. And the secondary cats are considered emissions.

It’s a little louder than stock at idle . But sounds much better and deeper when you get on it.
