Rear lights connection

Good morning,
I changed my rear lights (European model) for an American model, it's not plug and play, I had to swap two wires to get the brake lights.
On European Camaros, the reverse light connector is located at the bottom of the bumper.
The socket for the lights is not the same, the positive is on 3, but where to connect the negative, in the rear light, there are two possibilities (4-6), I don't know which pin to connect the negative to.
I ask your opinion.

Pins 4 & 6 are both Ground. Circuit #2550. You may need to jumper between the 2 pins and back to the actual chassis ground to get full functionality across the lamp assembly.

Thank you for your reply !
The lights work normally, I just reversed the turn signal wires with the Stop wires without having to jumper for the negative.
Aren't the negatives of the connectors directly connected to chassis ground?
