Farewell, I had to get rid of my Ss

Long story short, I have back problems, had surgery, injections, PT etc. The 6th gen just killed my sciatica and I couldn't get out of the car anymore. I drove my son's Prius for 2 weeks before I traded the SS.

I had planned on getting a Corvette convertible but that is out of the question now.

I deal with the fleet guy at my Chevy dealer and they gave me 30K for the car plus a I got a $750 lease loyalty bonus (I lease my car for my company) and walked away owing $250 on it on black Friday.

I picked up a 2019 Caddy XT4 AWD. I can get in and out easily and drive on trips better than any other car we own. I'm pretty happy with it after 1K miles.

I have 5th gen rims and snows to sell.

Here's a quick photo album.

Dang, gotta say, that's the one pita for me too. Getting in and out. I don't have enough room to open my door very far in my garage. Hope you heal up soon.

It's not looking that way.

I still have my 200 Trans Am Firehawk, which I won't part with.

I have sciatica left over from back surgery Getting into and out of the Camaro didnt bother me as much as no lumbar support in the seat. Had to buy a lumbar cushion which made things 100% better. Your new ride has this? Experiment with it Good Luck!

Good luck. I'm sure in a couple of years there'll be some fast GM SUV's for you. I've had muscle cars for 30+ years but I still prefer to daily drive my wife's Pathfinder.

I'm holding out for a Tesla Model Y.

The funniest thing is I have no idea what to do with all of the storage compartments. I'm so used to sports cars and not keeping much in them. I'm sure my wife would have them filled by now....

I just flipped 1K miles today. I'm really liking the Caddy and not being in pain when I drive.
