M6 fault codes PO729 PO731 PO733 PO734 PO735
Has anyone had these codes? My car is M6 and these codes are coming up pretty steady. The car has no symptoms otherwise, but this causes me to lose this gear indicator in the dash (and HUD). It also disables the back camera which I hate.
On a related note, I have had Redline Synthetic D4 atf in the transmission for about 8000 miles now. The codes started about 1000 miles ago. Any help would be appreciated!

P0729 = Gear 6 Incorrect Ratio
P0731 = Gear 1 Incorrect Ratio P0733 = Gear 3 Incorrect Ratio P0734 = Gear 4 Incorrect Ratio P0735 = Gear 5 Incorrect Ratio If you feel like throwing parts at it, try this: https://www.gmpartswarehouse.com/oem...ensor-24296964 Certainly check the wire harness and connector for bad connections prior to purchasing the part. How do you like the Redline D4 trans fluid? Any improvements? I saw a significant improvement when I did this to my 2012 SS. Since my 6th gen transmission shifts so much better than the 5th gen trans I am hesitant to swap the fluid to anything but the factory fluid. -Ray |
