This is a great forum.
It's difficult not to take good things for granted, and social media seems to often foster negativity. So I just wanted to say how good this forum of ours is. I have been helped so much by the information here, both before buying and while owning Camaros. I especially appreciate this site after going to forums of other makes, like BMW. Trying to find basic information at those sites, like how to get to an air filter, is so frustrating compared to the ease at which much more esoteric info is findable here. People here are always responsive and helpful. One of the gurus in the exterior maintenance crowd actually sent me his phone number and helped me out by speaking with me directly. There's a nice mix of attitude, sarcasm, wit, and genuine consideration. Even the negative banter seems to be exchanged in a benign way.
While I'm heaping praise, it's worth saying how well this forum works technically. With a minimum of unobtrusive ads, it seems to run flawlessly; I've never known it to be down or to have crashed. Email notifications and private messaging work extremely well. And use of mobile devices to get around, poses no problems, even when it comes to uploading and attaching photos. I'm not much of a social media person, but I do find myself spending more and more time here. The activity herein is not only enjoyable, but also makes owning and driving a Camaro that much more fun. Many thanks to those behind the scenes that make this all happen.

Yeah, I used to be a BMW guy in the Roadfly days. I sold mine and then started looking for another years later, and found the other sites were really hit or miss. One chassis code section would be helpful, the next would be a cesspool of troll fights.
Not to say this place is boring, from the few months I've been visiting

I also have to give this forum a big thumbs up!! When researching the Camaro, I was able to easily find the answers to most questions I had without creating a single thread.
It also helped to have knowledgeable members willing to share info and/or link to the pertinent info when needed. I've noticed that the bigger BMW and Mercedes forums generally do not have dedicated sections for problems and everything is all over the place. It's as if they're afraid such sections would would give a poor impression of the cars when in fact, it would help their members. |

I stalk this forum all the time while not logged in. Younger guy here so I can't speak on other forums as far as brands go. But no complaints here =).
