Meisterschaft exhaust
Im looking at getting this exhaust, mainly because of sound and to be different, but when looking at the web site over at GTHAUS, im a little confused. Is the GTC, GTS, or SGT options only axle back systems? I ask because underneath that they have a full catback x pipe solution for 998. If my assumption is correct that GTC, GTS, and SGT options are axle backs, their top of the line option is 3000....for an axleback...WOW!! Which begs the question why is your catback option cheaper than your axleback solution?? My call to GTHAUS yesterday went unanswered which is why Im asking here in case anyone knows.

I think the 998 is just the x pipe only. The others are just axle backs.

I also think the $998 price is x pipe only. Something seems very weird about the Camaro offering. I know there's at least one test ZL1 out there with the exhaust on it, but no others. That one sounded like an absolute beast. The company seems to be very hard to get info about this exhaust too. If it ever does come to market I'd be interested, but in the meantime I went with the Kooks axleback. It has a very minimal muffler and sounds awesome.

The AXLE-BACK muffler starts at $1998, the X pipe is an additional $998 to make it a "Cat-back" which would bolt to the back of the primary cats I'm assuming. If you don't option the X pipe then you'll have to cut the factory exhaust before the suitcase muffler, this would leave the factory X pipe, crushed rear section, and secondary cats.
The GT Haus is a great sounding exhaust and it's extremely high quality and expensive. Did I mention expensive? I'm usually all for buying high quality stuff but I think $3000+ for a Camaro exhaust might be a bit over the top. Corsa and a Borla X is my choice at this point. |

ok that makes sense, not 998 dollars worth of sense lol but ok. So know Ill have to see if the borla xpipi will mate upto this like it does the corsa....would be magic and save myself a few hundred dollars!
on the web site the x pipe is listed as Dimensions 58 x 8 x 24 in...not sure if thats box size or what, corsa is listed as 11x26x45box size. |

Unfortunately, there's a lot of that from them. I believe that their system for the Corvette is substantially less expensive as well. I wonder why?

Whats up gents! I am the one with the GT Haus exhaust, there are a few units coming in late April early or early May. Call their number and ask for Tim and tell him Julian sent you.

I'm interested in this setup as well. Emailed them a few days ago, haven't heard anything. That's too bad really, the clip on their site sounds amazing. I do wish there were more clips on the web, but the only one on a ZL1 that I can find is on their page.
