Roadside Assistance
Hey Everyone,
I just picked up a CPO 2017 2ss and I know it has GM roadside assistance but exactly does that cover? and for how long? at some point the run flats will go away so that is my main concern as well as the battery drain that some cars have. I have had AAA for the last 10 years but if I don't need it due to the GM roadside, it will save me some cash. I can also get roadside with my insurance. |

It's basically insurance. You should really read the policies, understanding what they cover/provide and then compare costs and make a truly informed decision. Not everyone's situation and needs are the same, so what works for someone else may not be best for you.
Personally, I don't bother with anything outside of GM roadside. In my 38 years of driving I've only needed roadside assistance maybe once. I've saved all that money not paying for AAA or any other coverage to more than cover my next out of pocket for a breakdown.
