Damaged Control Arm-help please

Just had my tech inspection before a track day. The technician (not dealer) noticed that there's a play / wobble in the front right wheel. He said the control arm is damaged, likely due to a pot hole.
1. Did anybody experience a similar issue?
2. Did warranty cover it?

PS- that explains why I had rotor/brake pulsation on my right front wheel on my last track day...the wobble likely caused an uneven rotor wear.

Thanks for your help!

Update: Took the car to the dealer this morning. They confirmed that both front lower control arms needs to be replaced. Will be covered under warranty
