There is a bulletin out for the transmission in case anyone hasnt heard.
i had a shudder in my trans at various speeds.
The process is 8 trans flushes. test drive.
then 4 trans flushes. test drive.

My car also goes in on Monday. Can you contact your dealership that did the work and have them email you the bulletin?

Perfect timing. Thank you for posting!

Thanks. I couldn't take the constant shuddering. So I brought it in.

Howver, question to anyone:: It sounds like this tsb might not solve a transmission that shifts poorly. As I understand it, this is meant to correct shuttering, and won’t improve shifts? I want to provide my tech with accurate TSB’s so we can discuss, as it’s easy to go over what feels wrong, but would help to reference what I can. Of course, if an entire transmission or engine needs replacing, you don’t reference a TSB so much as you just say “shits broken, needs a full replacement.”
I am in your boat Cameron. I don't have so much "shuddering" as I do poor, clunky shifts. I will bring this TSB up nonetheless. The last thing I want is to get in my car with an "all clear" and turn on to the road and have it do the same thing. Honestly, at this point, I can't really tell whether it is electronic or mechanical. It's just bad.

Is this something that happens over time or did you all notice the shuddering right away?

^^^ Yep, exactly the same for me too. It started out as a "break-in" issue. Then after that, it started to get progressively worse.

Can you guys describe a little deeper what you mean by shuddering? Is it at constant speed or only during shifts? Under throttle or under coasting? Any particular gear?

Weirdly enough, I have this issue with my 6L45 trans... At about 42MPH under light acceleration it feels like hard misfiring. I always just chalked it up as transient throttle spark knock. Too bad the bulletin only covers MY2015+ vehicles.

The bulletin I found does not list this procedure. It only calls for 1 flush, fill, then drive a minimum of 200 miles. Do you have a link to your information? It would be extremely wasteful to perform 14 fluid flushes. Figure the trans probably holds around 10 quarts of fluid along with the converter, and a quart of trans fluid runs around $5, so that would be $700+/- worth of wasted transmission fluid if someone performed the service you described.
