Detailing arsenal? Help me improve
Hey guys, I dont consider myself a "detailer" i'm just a guy who likes having a clean car inside and out. any suggestions on things to replace/add. Also any suggestions on interior cleaning products would be appreciated.

I see no polish here so I don’t know what your procedure is. Personally I think carpro will run rings around the Adam stuff, With a lot less effort, time and expense…

Too many products there...keep it simple, polishing once a year, seal at least twice a year or more. Like mentioned above, Carpro products are really good products, not really a fan of Adams products.

If I was to do it all over again, I would just stick with Carpro products. Adams, Chemical Guys and several other "car care" product companies are just marketing companies IMO.

Adam's is fine quality. You could stick with their line and do well.

Over the years I have been trying out various product lines and comparing. IMO Adam's does make some great products for the average weekend detailer. There are some better options out there as well that may perform better, but Adam's detail spray will probably always be my favorite.
In your picture above, you do have some good products, but there are other options out there (CarPro, Gyeon, Menzerna) that can give some better results. |

Yup, the big three in my book, I will never blindly follow one mfr as far as I’m concerned, no manufacturer makes all good stuff, everybody has their Duds....The only thing I will piggyback is polish and seal because I think they’re synergistic when from the same mfr. Other than that, I pretty much use one product from each mfr in a detail on my car....here’s my winners:
Clay sponge: nanoskin Polish: Carpro (and Meguires 205 for other stuff) Seal: Carpro Interior: Poorboys Wheel cleaner: duragloss (but only 1st time, after wheel seal, Rinseless) Rinseless: Carpro Wheel seal: gyeon Towels: microfibertech Tire coating: TAC Polisher(s): flex and griots Pads: lake country Glass: diamondite/stoners Solvent: alcohol, min spirits, stoners These are the winners for me right now, I’ll dump any one of these in a second if I find something easier and more durable/glossier… No blind loyalty here…

You do have some winners in that collection: Guard & Gloss and the Wheel Cleaner are good. I also like their Interior Detailer, In & Out spray, the new Tire Shine and their Detail Spray. Glass Cleaner and VRT (especially VRT) are crappy. And like Glen said above...I would start your car with a decon/polish before you start putting on the products.

If you want to try out different product, mystery boxes are great ways to get a variety of common products at 40% discounts. McKee's, Adams, Chemical Guys, and Autogeek all either have Mystery Boxes on their normal menu or they offer them several times per year.
