PRAY Performance Baby Cam H/C/IM/TB dyno numbers.
I would first like to thank Ben for all his patience and willingness to be an experiment. I learned a lot though this build. Another special thanks to Justin at Indiana Muscle Car for all his work. We were in constant contact and worked hand in hand on this build and tuning. He was as dedicated to this build as I was. They did great work.
We are still only on 58% E and I put a little to much compression in this motor. We could only get 23* total timing into this build. That is why it lays over a little bit up top. That is my fault. Another couple degrees of timing on 77-81% and I believe we would have seen 550rw out of this combo. This car now has my STG 1 cam, my ported heads and my ported STOCK IM/TB. Graph is against bone stock. AFR was 12.5-7 on the stock pulls with 24* of timing. Car is a 17' 1LE that we set up for road course racing. Mods: PP ported stock heads PP ported stock intake/throttle body PP STG1 cam Kooks 1 7/8" catted headers/stock cat back RF CAI (w/ dry filter I believe)

Very impressive, didn’t think porting would Open it up that much, can we get a video of how the car sounds? Does the cam work for procharger?

I wouldn't run this cam with a PC. It was designed around my heads and being N/A. I have other grinds that will work well with a PC.

That's what I designed it around. I will have to get with IMC to see what they have it idling at. I think it will idle fine at 700rpm. I have used these specs on stock converter A6 cars without issues. I have actually gone 4* larger stock converter A6 cars but there is a little tugging at idle. That is why I designed this cam. The A8 converter is a little looser than the A6.
I will shoot you the specs in a PM.

Ah okay understood, well standing by to hear that idle!! I was going to get phastek aggressive cam but I plan on procharging the car very soon so might just go semi agressive, would like to hear how your car sounds though.

If you want to hear the cam in my car then head over to my FB page. I have an idle vid on there. I am sure they sound about the same due to the lobe sep and compression.

So a little less compression and more timing and the power will carry further on this combo? I am still debating a package like this or a Maggie next season.

Yes, I believe so. The TQ Coefficient tables could possibly help but some small adjustments were made and not much changed. We are running into KR limitations up there right now. On pump gas we didn't run into that flat spot. It pulled up to 6,500-6,600 without the lay over on only 17* of timing. We were still working through the tuning at that point and just moved on to E. I believe we are up against the computer and possible some frequency issues up there. It is only in two cylinders that it picks up but we didn't want to push the motor. No need with the power we are making now. Mine shows KR in the same exact two cylinders when it pops up. My DCR ended up lower than this build. If we could get the E content up I am sure it would hold the proper timing and wouldn't lay over any more. I designed this package and picked my final DCR based off of maximizing tq and this not being a drag motor but a road course car. Adjustments can easily be made for future builds.
