2017 Camaro SS E85 Dyno

Interested on everyone’s thoughts on why where I stand vs similar “builds”. And why you think my numbers were what they came out to..

Same tuner made 475 on a dynojet with a 17 M6, headers, IM, E85, intake

2017 Camaro SS A8,

Dyoned on a superflow

Located in Sf

E85 tune by GP tuning, 1/4 91 - 3/4 E85
Custom H pipe
Secondary Cat delete

Was hoping it would put down 430-440. But still happy with it, and car runs great .

I don’t have the baseline.

Don't be too caught up with those numbers. Your numbers look fine to me and where they are supposed to be. Matt probably dynoed it in 4th gear, where as most people on this forum dyno with the 5th gear on an a8. I'm going to get tuned by matt soon in a few months as well and know someone who got tuned by him and highly recommends him. If your car pulls harder than before, then you gained some decent hp.

you said he put a m6 that dynoed at 470 where he measure

Looks good to me... I bet that your baseline was probability 380s or low 390s so that's a damn good gain.

A dyno is only useful for looking at your net gain vs baseline. In general, comparing your numbers against other cars/dynos' should not cause you much concern.

Definitely don’t compare our numbers, different day, weather and dynos. You made amazing numbers for just a flexfuel sensor. My baseline was 394/398 to 475/466. You also have an auto vs my M6 which plays a tiny role in how much power makes it to the floor. Overall your numbers make me wish I went with less bolt ons and just went FI after the E85 kit. These cars are amazing when modded in even the smallest form.

OP that M6 Dyno looks about like my M6 (460 w/o E85, baseline 429). Your dyno looks about right for an A8.

That being said I am sure your A8 is faster than my M6. Best I can do is low 11.8s@120. The A8 makes much better use of every HP.
