Paint 1 in ZL1 badge
I have a red ZL1 and would prefer the 1 logo to be blue like the corvette ZR1 badge against the red car body. What do you all suggest is best to paint it right?

A bit pricey but river city creations does custom paint for badges and such, just added the 2017 ZL1 emblems to the site a bit ago too. Alternative would be order some vinyl and make an inlay with an Xacto blade. I did this for the front and rear emblems and the interior emblems, I ordered a 5th gen ZL1 Emblem not realizing it wasn’t for the 6th gen but I like the shape of it on the hood better I think.

Here are some pics, the hood is wrapped in 3M Gloss Green Envy, the 1 and the i on the fifty are 2011 Camaro Synergy Green, trying to get as much SGM color matched as possible.

Since the area is enclosed all you need to do is get a small artist paint brush and some testers hobby paint and let it flow into that area ...it will harden overnight and look fine.
Or vinyl...vinyl avail at amzn or metrorestyling.com |
