Longest camaro sat without charging

What was the longest time your camaro sat without charging and started up with no problems? Mine was 2 1/2 weeks. My 72 corvette was 6 weeks but that's a different animal. I usually try to charge the corvette every 2 or 3 weeks if sitting. I try to drive the camaro more.

I've gone 3 weeks with no issue. I would expect longer since I have only had the car from new for 3 months.

If you know you are going to be letting the car sit for an extended period of time I would either put a charger on it or put the car in transport mode. AGM batteries do not like to be fully drained and if they drop really low most chargers cant pull them back either.

Mine sits on a battery tender all the time. My previous two Gen 5 camaros, would just go dead intermittently, sometimes within days for no reason.

I went about 4 weeks and it started up just fine. Of course, when it was only a few months old I went a week and it was dead as a doornail and the dealer found nothing wrong with it. Must have been a one time glitch where the electrical shutdown sequence didn’t finish.

Not intended to hijack. But where do you hook up the battery tender? At the jump start connections?

This has happened to me twice over the last two years. No reason. I’m convinced there’s a software glitch in the system somewhere they can’t duplicate easily. Now I just walk by the car with my phone every couple days day when I know it’s down for days as I’m on the bike, using this…

Directly to the battery in the trunk with post connectors
