Temp drop. Whipple vs Maggi
I got my car Whipple SC with meth injection, and inject 50/50 of meth and water.
One of my friends has the similar system, but Maggi. Almost the sam boost. However, when he starts to spray , the IAT drops from 120 to around 90 while mine is going up little. I assume we are sprying almost the same rate. Is it from a kind of structural difference btw the 2 chargers? |

Are you spraying the IAT?

That's your problem.
If you spray after the IAT (inlet air temp) the sensor has no idea what your doing. Not horrible, but your not reaping all the benefits. By spraying the IAT, you can trigger more timing and if you run out it WON'T trigger more timing and helps protect the engine. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk |

The IAT should be located after the SC (I know it is on a Maggie) so it should be able to register the change if there is one when injecting pre throttle body. Did the Whipple have a breakout harness to change the location if the IAT from the MAF to the post intercooler location?

My IATs are about 115 before my 1/4 pass and about 120 in the traps. Staying plenty cool
