Your opinion on this deal
Before I start talking with the boss (wife) I got the following deal: trade in my 2016 SS ( see signature for specs) add $4000 and replace it with 2017 SS 1LE with PDR ( and 100 miles). I track my car about 10 days per year , it's my daily driver with 12K miles per year , at stop and go traffic commute of 40 min each way.
What would you do? Thanks for your help

The deal seems fair. My only concern would be your DC commute in stop and go, the 6MT gets real old real quick even for the die hard manual fan...

I think that's a strong offer. Consider you are also getting new tires,much better wheels, bigger brakes, etc...

The value of your trade (also depending on your current miles and general condition) would be ~ 28-31K max. depending on your dealer. Lowest price you could find a new 1LE with PDR at the very end of the year in Nov. - Dec. would be 20% off MSRP ~ $36,600 If you still manage to find one! So adding 4K$ to a PDR Optioned 1LE is a fantastic offer |

Everyone's assuming his payment will be the same once he adds $4k. He never mentioned that, but if so it's a great deal. What's the purchase price of the car, and how much negative equity from the 'old' car are you rolling into the new loan before down payment?
