Video:Tracked my 1LE @ NJ Motorsports Park

Day was cut short as slave let loose @ ~4.45 mark!
Other then that the car is on rails! I also own 2016 GT3RS and I gotta say that this 1LE is the bargain of the century!

https://youtu.be/PETbLHMZAm4

Set up is:

18 rims
Hoosier R7
Brey Krause harness bar
Alignment according to GM hi po manual.
Hawk DTC70 front pad
Stock rears.

What did it feel like with such a huge pad compound split front to rear?

Killing it! How wide are your rims and what size tires are you using? Any spacers or mods made to the strut?

You were hustlin around NJMP! Nice work!

Have they changed the configuration in the last few years? When I went there back in like 2010 or so to take photos for GrandAm (and the Continental Tire series), I remember there being a really complex set of turns before blasting onto the main straight, and you went by a bunch of condos similar to VIR.

Also.. GORGEOUS RS!!!

I'm looking for my receipts I'll get it for you tomorrow on specs and such. On the front I'm running longer studs as I'm running 3/4 inch wheel spacer. Honestly though I could have modified the strut and got no way with 1/2 inch wheel spacer. These wheels are 18 in 10 in wide 11 inch wide for the rear. Hoosier 295 30 18 and the front 315 30 18 in the rear.

Very cool the 1LE can hold its own against much more expensive machines in the fun-to-drive department. This really is up there among the most enjoyable cars I've driven.

I have to say, those 18's look tiny in those wheel arches. But, function > form.
