Who is doing Track/HPDE days with a Centrifugal blower?

How many heat-related problems are you having? Will listen to A8 owners, but specifically interested in 6MT folks

Basically considering doing an ECS1500 on the 1LE I have and want to make sure I do any prep needed for heat-related issues.

Only planning on the blower kit, tune, and an aftermarket x-pipe (I know the x-pipe only removes the 2 rear cats, not the primary cats - but I figure 2 less is better than leaving them all intact as far as heat is concerned).

Tried asking this in the f/i forum but a lack of responses

I have nothing to back this up but I think you'd have both heat and reliability issues with a blower on an otherwise stock Camaro on track days. I'd love to hear some real experiences.

I can say I had the same blower (ECS1500) on my '12 Grand Sport with only headers/catless x-pipe and tracked that with no issues, so I'd say that it's not necessarily the case to have reliability issues with a good kit/tune...

However I'd like to hear *Camaro* owners chime in
