I am not sure of the exact answer, but I can tell you what a GM Field Engineer told me. We were talking about built in safety features such as torque management etc. He said another feature would be the left axel. He said it would be the first to break before any other major damage was done to other parts? I'm not sure of the details, but I found it interesting....

Yeah not sure of the Stregreth. :P
But seriously, I'm hoping to see some shops pick up the ball and start pushing 800-1000 HP builds and see what kind of power we can expect to give at this car. I know Vengeance is already going whipple/procharger (Can't remember which) and is going right for 9s and trying to find the limit of the A10 so they can then back off and give reliable packages. A lot of people are already skeptical, thinking that the Torque management that the car has is EXPOSING the WEAKNESS of the 6th gen ZL1 drivetrain and Chevy is trying to cover it. ![]() If it's anything to go off of, A8s in the C7 Z06s have done 1000+ wheel with only a few upgraded parts... |

If you're planning on drag racing, a set of DSS shafts may not be a bad idea.
