SCCA spring autocross nationals video

Here is my video from this memorial day weekend event. Day one and day two are in here.

1st event in my own Camaro and sadly only my 2nd event this season.

Pretty happy with the results considering this was my 1st event in this car. Car is bone stock other than the wheels, tires, and alignment. I can see areas where to improve but above all else seat time will be important. Few more events planned in the stock form before I put a front sway bar on it.

Not a bad maiden voyage at all! I'm sure your right foot will get used to all that power very quickly.

For sure. The bigger issue is my left foot and the brakes! Camaros don't like a lot of instant pressure, end up hitting ice mode a few times. Might have to go to right foot braking again.

Yea, much slower on the input required on the brakes than most other cars. Ive had much better drivers than myself ride along and ask why I start so slowly, and then I let them drive it... It becomes obvious.

Great result, Mike. It was nice to meet you. Watching your video, I see where I need to get rid of some bad habits, I was braking much later in a lot of places. Good luck with the new ride.

That's the plan. Midwest divisional in August and Nationals the next month.
