Mishimoto induction hose

Has anyone used the Mishimoto induction hose (intake tube)? I'm interested in getting it since it deletes the sound tube. I'm planning on pairing it with the K&N drop in filter. Just looking to see if anyones gone this route. It seems to be a good combo to me, MAF doesn't get moved, sound tube gets deleted, keeps the factory cold air inlet, cleans up the engine bay. Plus it's not $400.

It's $165 on Car ID.

Yes it's $275 on Mishimoto's website. That's just too much for a silicone tube. But on Car ID they're selling it for $165. I went and bought it to try.

I'll do a review once I have it on the car. I'll monitor A/F ratios before and after just to make sure it doesn't run lean. May do a dyno as well. Even if there's no performance gain it's still worth it to me. Looks better, while cleaning up the look of the engine bay.

Amen brother. Did this on my turbo with the ZZP silicone intake tube. Really cleans things up.

Will do dotfiles! It appears like it's shipping from Mishimoto directly. So it may take a little longer than normal. Hoping to get it sometime this week. Michigan1LTRS my previous car was a ATS 2.0T. I had the ZZP intake tube and K&N drop in filter on that (among other things). After reading how the factory SS intake is pretty well designed I wanted to go the same route as I did on the ATS.
