I like Chrome, ya, I'm a old guy.

My head is spinning with all this information I've found here regarding wheels. I just purchased a 2SS with the grey split spoke wheels. I hate the dang things. I know you young guys like the black look but I'm old school and like a chrome or high polished wheel.
I want to use my stock tires. My understanding is that the factory wheels are 8.5 and 9.5. I've looked at Detroit Tire on chrome factory split spoke wheels but they only come in sets of four at 8.5. If I use 8.5 wheels on all four will my stock tires fit?
What other chrome or high polished wheel options are out there for me? I looked at a couple of Foose wheels and they also only show 8.5's.
Any help will be appreciated. Jerry.

There was a thread I saw here a couple days back with some nice 5 spoke Cragar's. Did you see that?

Detroit Wheel can PVD coat your wheels and they'll look as good as chrome. I had my GTO wheels done, and they were great!! ( I'm old too!!)

I had detroit wheel and tire take care of mine, no issue keeping the stock SS sizes. took a few weeks but they got me 8.5s for the front and 9.5s in the rear.

I would have your stock wheels powder coated in a chrome like finish. Should only be around $400. Powder coat is far superior to our painted wheels, and will cost cheaper and easier to maintain than real chrome wheels.

Thank you for the updates. Mike I like the splits from Detroit. I guess I need to give them a call about a 4 wheel package that has 8.5 and 9.5. Craeger is really old school! I'm not that old!
