Guys non of the fenders are wider there stamped on the same mold, but the ZL1 AND ZL1 1LE have wider brackets welded on them, and only at the rocker molding, they go from 0 at the door to .7+ at the bumper, so your 1LE is the same as the SS cars.

hm, I was under the impression the ZL1 fenders were 13mm wider at the lip than SS. I know of one member who has both and is going to test this, so I suppose we'll know sooner or later what the truth is.

As you can see the mounts look alike but that front one on both the fenders is not the same there moved some .7+ , all the wider is at the bottom where it bolts to the car, the fender is rotated out at the bottom and only a small amount, from where the fender meets the door its 0" then goes out to .24 at the start of the wheel well, from there its goes to .7+ at the point where the bumper meets the fender and that is only at the bumper not at the hood line.

@Gen5DIY, Have you guys made any progress on making a kit for the SS to move the fenders out?

Ok, so the "zl1 fenders are wider" are simply because the mounting brackets push them out? So in a sense... they are wider?

Yes, our C&C guy is working on that next, we have spent over 40K on a new line of C&C parts that are coming out in time for next year, so look for it soon, website will be ready end of the month.
