DELUXE rock guards now in stock

We now have the Deluxe rock guards in stock for the 6th gen, they are thicker and have a rounded edging to them. www.zl1addons.com
The rock guard on the right is the deluxe.

Whats up with those rear guards you said you were working on for the 17 ZL1. Will they be available anytime soon?

We have the fronts but the rears we are still figuring out how to make them look good with that lip from the ground effects. Its not easy because we need a car for at least a day to test fit and make proto types.

We did fix the tape placement on the front rock guards to line up better. The first tape placement was done on a 6 cyl

We are close to getting the rears formed for the ZL1 they will be thermoformed for the rears on the ZL1 aero.

we have a mode to help with the 3m tape to stick better. Call us and we can help you out. 858 527 8727 The issue is they are thicker and better plastic. REMEMBER YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD A SCREW TO THEM INTO THE INNER FENDER LINER!! I prefer the screw rather than tape but most do not want to screw anything. There are only 2 ways to attach them.

Has the rear been developed yet for the ZL1? A gap is unacceptable... filling with caulk is unacceptable. It needs to fit the rockers/ground effects, or it shouldn't be called a ZL1 accessory. That's like selling someone a size 16 shoe as a size 10 and saying, "you just need to stuff some paper up in the toe".

The gap is going to have to stay for now, it would take a very expensive tooling to mold them to the ZL1, plus not that many cars to support it. The rear really does not need rock guards, the front do. For now the ZL1 guys will have to go with out the rear rock guards. Remember the rock guards are to keep the stones of the car, the rear will not get any like the side of the car. They do look fine with the small gap as most have used them.
