Washing satin hood and other satin exterior bits?

Just picked up a black 1LE yesterday, and I noticed the satin hood and trim pieces had some spots on them after the dealer wash. Like a shiny oily appearance. Perhaps fingerprints from the showroom that did not wash off.

Any recommendations for washing and caring for the satin exterior bits? Are touch less car washes okay to use occasionally?

Just wash with soap and water. They should come off. Mine do and it looks like New after every wash. If it doesn't then something else happened.

I Would not use a carwash.. easy to scrub/scratch wheels on metal guides..Watch out for curbs. Wheel will hit b4 tire..

Once the hood is clean Adam's VRT works great on the matte wrapped hoods. The satin chin spoiler, mirrors and trunk spoiler can be washed, dried and waxed as normal.
