2016 lgx warranty
My buddy was rolling down highway last night around midnight did a 60-100 roll check engine light came on we limped it to the Chevy dealership. Just informed it was a cam, 2 calves and lifter that needs to be replaced any body else had issues wothtbere lgx...... warranty is taking care of it so far but car only has 22000 miles and is 100 percent stock, not even a tune. Just muffler and resonator delete....

All due respect, did he money shift it?
Good that it's warrantied though. I think if this was a timing chain issue like the LLT there would be more information about it by now. Could have been an AFM cylinder if it's an automatic, cause I believe the L99 SS of the 5th gen had weaker components on the AFM cylinders. History of using oil or anything like that? If not, like I said, probably just a factory defect.

Yeah, probably just a fluke then. Report back once the work is done?

It was actually multiple lifters, as well as a cracked head. I was told that a piece of metal broke off somewhere in the motor and shredded quite a bit. That are taking apart the bottom end tomorrow to determine if there is any more damage

had to take another trip to the dealership for the same code as before this time it ended up being the fuel injectors on the cylinders that caused the last problem

Well, this sounds like a bad batch across the board. My goodness.
