New guy looking at possibly a camaro

Hey My name is Bunmi ( pronounced boomee) I live in the dc/ northern VA area very interested in a 6th gen Camaro as well as challenger ta and mustang. I like v8 sound and power. Im here to learn and look at and find information to figure out which car is best for me. I really like the 1 le in the dark grey color and the 50th anniversary package . I have not ridden in a 6th gen yet I have a few times ridden in a 5th gen. I am glad the interior has changed and matches the looks of the exterior. I have been a car guy most of my life so looking forward to learning a lot

Good luck and welcome Bunmi. I live in Stafford and love my 50th 2SS Vert. You'll get hooked! Most of us looked at the same three cars you are before choosing the Camaro

Test drive all 3, pick the one that "speaks" to you the most. All of us here will obviously tell you the Camaro is the best choice... put that aside because in the end, its your decision. Good luck!

Sounds like the mustang is out. I has trouble with the seats from my weight lifting...

I was quite fortunate before I bought my camaro. I got a few pretty wild rides in a charger hellcat and got to go over a challenger hellcat. If you don't love the hellcat then your not a dodge guy... I wasn't impressed... it will pass everything but a gas station with a large un attractive interior.

Mustang has no back seat, I have a 46" chest @ 5'6" tall and I found the seats tight. The metal finishes in the mustang really felt cheap. I do like the exterior of the mustang it's a pretty slick machine.

The camaro... I have 150 videos on YouTube about how i feel about this car... I drove in the 2.0 litre turbo yesterday and was extremely impressed! Which only made me enjoy my 2ss more. There's no bad or wrong camaro setup!

Make sure the fit and finish of the car is correct before signing the deal, make sure the stock wheels paint is not peeled off, these GM ****s dropped the ball in terms of build quality.

The Camaro is far the best out of the other brands you mentioned, hands down! You will love the SS, one awesome car. Don't let some of the issues that are going around ruin your view of the car, kine was built the 3rd of production in 2015, 2016 MY. I have only 2 or 3 small issues, all have been resolved except the rear differential rubbing noise when cold, it only lasts for 2 or 3 turns, then disappears in cold weather only. Is it annoying, sure at times it is, but something that I over look until a fix is created by GM/Chevy....other than that, it is awesome!

Truer words have rarely been spoken.

Boomee, like others have said, getting in some time behind the wheels of your three options will help a lot. Welcome and make the right choice for you.

Nice
Just in case,
I'll sell my 50th (coupe, 8 auto , dual exhaust, sun roof, no MRC) as soon as I'll get my ZL1. No issues 3500 miles, (expect 6000 in April).
Sometimes around April or may

Good luck with your choices & going through the comparisons. I have been a Mustang guy in the past & did a lot of research & read all the comparisons in the magazine. Really, I wouldn't have considered the Camaro without them going to the Alpha platform. Absolutely changed the dynamics of the vehicle into an overall great sports car that competes with the best out there.

I have a bad left knee & with the auto adjust seats on my 2SS, to exit, I have the seat retract all the way back. I have no issues getting in or out. So keep in mind the adjustability of things when doing your comparisons.

The biggest change to the Gen 6 Camaro is it is now built on the Alpha platform shared with the Cadillac ATS. It is a significant improvement over Gen 5 and is lighter and handles better. The Gen 6 Camaro has no competition right now IMHO. It's that good.

The only downside I have found is rear visibility but after driving it for a few days, you will get used to it.
