Reverse tilt mirrors

Is there no way to set where i want the mirrors to stop? I find they go down way too far for my liking. I like to see the curb and the bumper of a car behind me.

There isn't, only option is to have it tilt or not tilt. It tilts down quite a bit so you can see your wheel and the curb, that's the purpose of it tilting.

I've noticed the mirrors return to their normal position a short time after reversing. I'm not even out of the garage when they tilt up

Is this a ZL1 only feature?

My mirrors don't tilt in reveres. I need to figure that out.

It is in the settings menu. You can choose no tilt, either the drivers or pass only tilt in reverse, or both. I currently have mine set to both, but they DO tilt at a pretty good angle to where you can see the wheel very well, but not much behind you. I think I might change mine to just the pass side since I normally try to back in with the pass side next to a curb (don't want to chance opening my door into a high curb) and I certainly want to see where the passenger side rear tire is in relation to the curb.

Sure this is a very minor annoyance, but I too would like to be able to set the tilt angle. Oh well, in a perfect world!

Thanks. I will check that out.

There is a timer out limit on the reverse tilt function, so they will return back up if you stay in reverse too long.

I used to have a 2004 BMW coupe that did it on the driver's side. Was a great feature when backing up next to a curb. My ATS-V has the same feature as our ZL1's, couldn't be happier with it. Absolutely NO reason for curb rash on these wheels!

I don't have my Camaro yet so I can't test it out, but here's how my Mercedes C350 works:
If you put the car in reverse, the passenger mirror tilts down. While still in reverse, you can adjust the mirror using the normal controls. Once you have it in the preferred position, save it to your programmed seat/mirror settings.
From then on, it only tilts down to the position you saved, and then back up to your normal position when you shift out of reverse.
