Bow Tie Blackout

Wanted to share my first DIY project (very minor). I wasted good 3M black vinyl trying to cut around the bow tie to black out my emblem. After about 4 rounds I said screw it and went to plisti dip. The very first go was perfect and it looks great. I just couldnt get the vinyl to work as expected. I always had a little gold showing on the edges...

Sorry. I thought I attached them to the original post. Also added 20% Suntek Carbon tint

Happy it helped! I wasted tons of black 3M vinyl then noticed the bottle of Plastidip sitting on the shelf. 4 quick coats of black and 1 quick glossifier. Use a toothpick to trip the outline and thats it. Took about 2 hours and that was mostly waiting! It was 30F outside so I heated up the garage and took the Plastidip inside so it could warm up before use.
