I've decided to cancel my order for the garnet red ZL1

A friend of mine MIGHT be selling his lake house, and although I have an obsessive love for cars, my passion is the water.

I could spend all day everyday teaching people to water ski, wake board, surf or barefoot

I've decided that, if he decides to sell, I need to be ready to pull the trigger.

If he doesn't sell, I will map out a plan to buy another lake house and eventually put a few nice cars in the barn.

I've also fell in love with my 2016 2SS all over again. I have spent the past 13 months putting 22,300 miles on her.....mostly in tour mode. I have no idea why....

I'm now enjoying sport and track mode

bottom line....

my sales guy is going to go ahead and take the car.

Hey don't feel bad. You already have a great car. Enjoy that for a little longer. Definitely go with the lake house. That will surely bring more happiness to you and a lot others. If anything, just wait till the next model Zl1 comes out in like 4 or 5 years. Then at that time, you can buy current model for a much lower price or newer model if you choose too. There will always be a better ZL1 to come out. Since it seems you just got your 2016, enjoy that car.

I'm selling a boat to buy the car, have the lake house and enjoy it. I sell boats and have access to them. It's two hobbies that conflict with each other!

Sweet cat... people don't realize how inexpensive these car hobbies are compared to power boat world.
