Diode Dynamics is excited to announce our new Multicolor LED Boards for the 2016-2018 Camaro SS and 2017-2020 Camaro ZL1 headlights and lower DRL! These OEM-grade replacement LED boards for your Camaro’s upper and lower DRL allow you to customize your headlights and lower DRL housing with thousands of custom colors at the push of a button!

Unlike other color-changing headlights or DRLs for the 6th generation Camaro, our Multicolor LED Boards were computer-engineered for perfect fitment right out of the box. Simply remove your Camaro’s factory upper and lower daytime running lights, and our color-shifting replacement circuit boards drop right in!

Featuring DOUBLE the number of LED chips as the 2016-2018 Camaro SS and 2017-2020 Camaro ZL1’s stock daytime running lights, our Multicolor LED Boards are the brightest color-changing lights on the market! Even in direct sunlight, these LED boards provide rich, vivid color.

• Adds RGBW multicolor and amber turn signal function (RGBWA only) to DRLs

RGBW & RGBWA

Our upper and lower Multicolor LED Boards for the 2016-2018 Camaro SS and 2017-2020 Camaro ZL1 are available in your choice of either RGBW or RGBWA options.

• RGBW: Enables thousands of custom color options, as well as a pure white daytime running light.
• RGBWA: In addition to true RGBW color-changing, the RGBWA option features a separate amber chip for a brilliant amber flasher when turning or using your hazards! The RGBWA option for our Multicolor LED Boards also includes the optional DRL override feature, which automatically switches your daytime running lights to a bright white when your Camaro is put in gear!

Upper & Lower DRL

Our Multicolor LED Boards for the 2016-2018 Camaro SS and 2017-2020 Camaro ZL1 are available separately for your upper and lower daytime running lights, or as a combined kit. Each kit includes everything needed for installation. The full RGBW kit for your Camaro’s headlights and lower daytime running light includes:

• Four (4) sets LED boards, upper and lower
• Four (4) waterproof drivers
• Two (2) RGBW Extension wire
• Eight (8) Nylon Washers
• Two (2) SolidState Relay Harness
• Two (2) Battery Input Wire
• Twenty (8) T-taps
• Installation guide

The full RGBWA kit includes:

• Four (4) sets of LED boards, upper and lower
• Four (4) waterproof drivers
• Four (4) JST pigtails
• Two (2) RGBW extension wires
• Two (2) DRL Power Wires
• Two (2) Add A Fuse Harnesses

Installation

Since installing our Multicolor LED Boards requires opening or “baking” your Camaro’s headlight and lower daytime running light housings, we recommend working with one of our authorized professional installers.

• Fits all 2016, 2017, and 2018 Chevrolet Camaros with premium headlights, and 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
• Fits all trim levels including SS, 2SS, SS 1LE, and ZL1

Does the premium headlights requirement apply if just getting the lower DRL?

Would someone do an install video of these? There is not an installer or even a dealer close to me, so i am going to have to do it myself and want to see what i will be getting into first.

Ordered the upper and lower plug a set of demon eyes this weekend. Can't wait to get them in. Was going to order a set of halos to but wasn't sure what size to get so for now I skipped them. I'll post up once I get them installed. Going to be cutting the housing open since I hear baking them open isnt an option on the 6th gens.

Man, that install was time consuming. Making sure everything is tied down right and has fuses on everything. Totally worth it though. She needs a wash but here's a first look.
