track pads

Hi guys,

So after a few track sessions, my pads are done and im looking for replacement, have anyone tried the hawk dtc series? and how do they perform on the track. Also what rotor do you guys use with these pads, would OEM rotors hold up? or do i need some stronger rotors too? Thanks!

Many are using the dtc-60. Alot dig the raybestos st43s as well. Hawk 5.0 and powerstop track pads have been mentioned as well. A few have experimented with dba and racing brake rotors as well. Way to much to go into detail and add it all here. Check in the road course/track and autocross forum on here as well TONS OF INFO! Rotors and pad wise. Pretty much most of the fastest road course guys are in there. Lots of advice and some even have vids and data comparing setups on many major tracks

Yeah thanks for the advice, some people said that it's better to upgrade the rotors as the stock rotors might not be able to hold up track pads, that's what I was worried about!
