Front Camera

Search feature is not working. Has anyone installed a front camera? I know Glene installed a curb finder but I would like a camera. How did you do it?

Backing in to parking spots is much easier and free compared to installing a front camera.

Search feature is buggy. Use Advanced Search and try limiting your searches to one or two words. Also, Google Search will work. There are definitely some threads about front cameras.

I found this by searching on Google website.

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.

I too have a curb alert. It works fine once dialed in & I give it a thumbs up. But there are places where the parking is diagonal to the curbs, so a front camera would be nice to have also. Curb alert doesn't do much when you come across those for me.

There is a company on the Corvette site called NAVTOOL....… They can hack the display and set up a camera for the Front, you might Google them.

Thanks Glen. We have a lot of angle head in parking so the curb alert won't help me much. I am hesitant to hack into the display because of warranty issues. If it is plug and play that is a different story. BTW I used to follow your C7 mods on your Yellow C7 on the Corvette Forum.

Excellent! Jag had the yellow one, mine was cyber...LOL....search around for the nap tool posts, Lotta comments that the product was effective, but dealing with the company was a PIA…
