AUX Tach vs. Factory Tach/HUD

All my previous F-Body race cars had an Aux Tach either mounted on the top of the Dash or A-Pillar.

After driving a Gen6 I still found myself looking for a high-mounted and trying to reference an Aux Tach.

My driving style also requires I keep my eyes and head up.

What are your thoughts about an Aux Tach?

I'm looking installing/using the smaller 3.75in GM COPO Tach in my ZL1 1LE (if it ever gets here...)

I like that one. The COPO tach needs an analog signal. I looked at the install. As far as I know you need an ODB2 signal in the CA6. Does the COPO light have that? If not you need something to pick up the ODB2 signal.

Autometer makes a Plug-N-Play cable for it.

Cool. I couldn't find anything like that. But ODB2 is what you need.
