Ceramic Tint

Does anyone know if Ceramic tint will interfere with any systems such as Bluetooth or the TPMS?

I would not be worried about bluetooth or wifi getting blocked. I'd only be concerned with whatever frequency your garage door opener uses if you have one or whatever toll road type of device (if you have one) uses and cell phone frequencies (these are usually in the 700Mhz, 900Mhz and 1.2Ghz etc range).

The keyfab doesn't operate through the windows to trigger proximity communication and cell frequencies aren't using 2.4Ghz like wifi and bluetooth use. You technically want to block 2.4Ghz whenever possible to avoid leaking your wifi access point outside of the vehicle (if you haven't disabled it via the onstar app).

That being said i dont have any tint and I still usually have to operate my garage door by sticking my hand out the window anyway. So....meh. Rolling the windows down is always an option (after the initial set time for your tint).

I got the ceramic tint put on about 3 weeks ago. So far I have not had any problems with anything. I love the heat reduction you get from the ceramic tint. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

I have the ceramic 25% on the sides and a darker ceramic on the rear glass. My phone plugged into the charger inside the house still connects with the car in the garage if I turn on the car radio. I've not noticed a difference using the phone while driving either.

I get all my tint done at Performance Tinters in Conroe. Just got ceramic tint put on my Silverado a couple weeks ago. They do all the tinting for the Chevy dealer up here too.

Also, never had any problem with ceramic tint and electronics. It really blocks heat but does look a bit different from the inside. My wife doesn't care for the look from the inside.

Zero problems with either, had it (Llumar Ceramic) since the end of my first week of ownership.
