Non-MRC to MRC
This may be crazy or just way too much money but what is the process to convert over to the MRC? Would it just be a plug-play type system? My car has almost every option except for it. I don't know anything about it.

the hardware is around $450-500 per corner, plus the control module - I can find a C7 Corvette module on ebay for $135 but I can't find the part number for the camaro, you'll also need some wiring harnesses, so probably around $2200-2500 in parts and if you are looking to get someone to fit it, the best part of a days labour
depends what your aim is but you could probably spend less and get a manually adjustable setup if you want something softer for the road but with the ability to be stiffened for the track |

Thank you. I figured it wouldn't be cheap since it's an almost $1800 option.

other Posters here have said that it could NOT BE DONE. My opinion is that ANYTHING can be done, But, at what cost? My guess is that it would NOT be worth the cost!!!! My Car has it and I would not be without it. Just My .02 worth.

I agree that about anything can be done given enough time and money. Beyond the costs for me - I fear such a conversion could create a software/hardware integration issue fraught with many potential bugs to get the various computers and electronic modules to work correctly with each other. I think that is why many say - don't try it.
We all want what we want and having regrets about a big purchase (buying a car w/o all the options we wanted) can be vexing. Good luck and best wishes for a solution that works for you.

It can't be done because Gm won't sell you the software so you can use it in my link. It's not a matter of money, IT CANT BE DONE the correct way.

Easier and cheaper would be to wait for single or maybe double adjustable shocks & struts to hit the market. Norm

ECU has all the identity's to the systems it was built with, If you take it out of one car to another it goes into stolen mode and disables most functions.

You would spend way more on installation and it would probably have problems anyway after you spend in upwards of $5k. You take the $5k, you call up Pedders, pfadt or BMR and tell them you want a great setup for the street and track.
