2 questions...

Just cut my muffler off with the pipes ending right after the differential. There is a lot of drone and it's loud as expected and was wondering when I get pipes put in and the tips replaced will it quiet down a bit since it won't be echoing under the car?

And if it doesn't I was thinking about getting borla xr-1s, one for each pipe. Does anyone have experience with these?

I guess I'm looking for something louder than the npp with fuse pull but with a tone that has higher pitches vs all low tones like the what I have now.

Ps. I had MagnaFlow before and it didn't have any of the higher tones I'm looking for. I have watched the videos of exhaust systems but videos don't give you the true sound and I know of no one around me with exhaust systems on the lt1. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I'm biased toward MRT because i have one on my v6. They have youtube videos of their exhausts for all camaro engines... they sound pretty accurate to life for the V1 minus the missing low frequency sound that doesn't record well. Thing resonates the car at certain loads. Sounds great.

Does sound nice. I'll have to consider that as well now! Thanks for the feedback!
