Carbon fiber or Gloss black?
I have a summit white 16 2ss..And will be buying a new rear diffuser, rockers, and a front splitter..Should I go with all carbon fiber? Or paint it gloss black? The kits I am looking at if I painted are fiberglass..Wouldn't 1 of the benefits of carbon fiber be the durability vs fiberglass?

Carbon fiber is way more expensive though, so if that is a consideration, something to consider. And it isn't indestructible either.
Or is it the carbon fiber look you are after? You can always get that look with a water transfer process. I've had several fiberglas spoilers & never had any breakage. Just gotta keep out of the curbs! Many of the parts now are made PC ABS or Urethane. |

If you put a carbon fiber splitter on a car you hit something with it, the only way to fix it is to repaint it and then the carbon fiber goes away. You can't fix carbon fiber to look like it never happened. Because it's a weave. Better off starting with gloss black. That way if you hit it , you can make a gloss black again. Lower carbon fiber parts are great for shows, but not for daily driving.
